Meet Bluspace: The Practical UK CRM Built Around Your Business

Choosing a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform should make running a business easier, not more complicated.

For many businesses, the right CRM can bring contacts, emails, quotes, deals, tasks and customer information together in one clear place. But when reviewing the options available, we found that many systems only solved part of the problem.

Some were powerful but overly complex. Others lacked flexibility, clear pricing, UK data storage or the level of human support businesses need when setting up and improving a CRM.

Identifying this gap in the CRM market, we developed Bluspace.

Bluspace is a British-built CRM designed to help businesses manage their customer relationships in a more practical, connected and adaptable way. Built with UK businesses in mind, it combines clear pricing, useful AI, human support and flexible setup options to help teams reduce admin, improve visibility and work from one reliable system.

The CRM problems we wanted to solve

1. Uncertainty around data storage and UK compliance

For many UK businesses, customer data is one of their most important assets. A CRM can hold contact details, quote history, email communication, notes, sales opportunities and internal records, so it is important to understand where that data is stored and how it is handled.

When reviewing CRM systems, we found that data storage and compliance were not always explained clearly, and with the constantly changing British GDPR rules, its important now than ever. Some platforms referenced GDPR compliance but did not make it easy to understand where data was held or what that meant for UK businesses.

Bluspace was built with UK businesses in mind. It is a UK-based CRM with data stored in the UK, helping organisations reduce unnecessary complexity and feel more confident about how their customer information is managed.

2. Pricing that is not always clear

CRM pricing can quickly become confusing. A monthly cost may look straightforward at first, but the real price can change once setup, onboarding, additional features, integrations, support or bespoke requirements are added.

This can make it harder for businesses to understand what they are paying for and what they will actually need once the CRM is in use.

Bluspace takes a clearer approach. There is an initial set-up cost, followed by a monthly per-user fee. If a business needs bespoke modules, integrations or additional development, these are scoped and priced separately. That means there is more clarity from the start and fewer surprises later.

3. Systems that are too complex for everyday use

A CRM is only valuable if people use it properly.

Some systems offer a huge number of features, but that does not always make them easier to use. For many teams, too much complexity can slow people down, create confusion and lead to the CRM being used inconsistently.

This matters because sales teams are already spending too much time on admin. Sales reps spend 60% of their time on non-selling tasks, including manual notes, internal approvals and searching for the right information.

Bluspace focuses on practical daily use. Teams can manage contacts, track deals, create quotes, record notes, organise tasks and view communication in one clear system. The aim is to give businesses the tools they need without adding unnecessary complexity.

4. CRMs that force the business to fit the software

Every business has its own way of managing customers, leads, quotes, communication and internal processes. A rigid CRM can force a team into a way of working that does not suit them.

That is one of the main reasons Bluspace was created.

Bluspace is built to work around the business, not the other way around. Because it is supported by a development team, it can be adapted with bespoke modules, adjusted workflows, custom fields and integrations where needed. This gives businesses a CRM that can grow with them and support how they actually work.

5. Difficulty moving from spreadsheets or another CRM

Moving to a new CRM can feel daunting. Businesses may already have years of customer records, spreadsheets, notes or information stored across different systems.

A CRM migration needs to be handled carefully; teams can lose confidence before they have even started using the new platform.

Bluspace has been designed with clear onboarding and practical migration support in mind. The team can help with setup, data imports and guidance, making it easier to move from spreadsheets or another CRM into one connected system.

6. Poor integration with existing tools

A CRM should not sit separately from the rest of your business. It should connect with the tools your team already uses, helping reduce duplicated admin and keeping information easier to manage.

Many businesses rely on Microsoft 365, email, calendars and other software every day. If a CRM does not connect properly with these tools, it can create extra work rather than saving time.

Bluspace is designed to work with a multitude of existing software, with open API integrations that allow the system to connect with the tools that matter to your business.

7. AI without the right human support

AI is becoming a valuable part of modern CRM software, but it works best when it is used in the right places.

Research shows a 74-percentage-point gap between general AI use and CRM integration, with 90% of UK business leaders using AI, but only 16% successfully implementing it in their CRM systems. That shows the opportunity for CRM platforms that make AI practical, useful and easier to adopt.

Some CRM systems have limited AI functionality, while others rely too heavily on automation. For businesses, the best approach is often a balance: AI to reduce repetitive admin and human support when advice, setup, troubleshooting or improvement is needed.

Bluspace is powered by useful AI and supported by real people. AI can help with tasks such as note-taking, quote writing, templates and summaries, while the team behind Bluspace can provide guidance, support and ongoing improvements.
